Raw skin-on comuna almond
The common almond with skin, also known as “Valencia skin,” is one of the most widely available almond varieties in the market. Recently, many new subvarieties have emerged, all derived from research aimed at addressing the issue of frost affecting this fruit.
This raw almond has a cinnamon color as only the hard shell has been removed.
It is relatively crunchy and has a very mild flavor when raw, but when subjected to any of our preparations, it takes on an intense and flavorful taste.
It is highly sought after by the hospitality industry in our various formats for use in different recipes as well as for raw consumption.
