Raw blanched comuna almond
The peeled common almond, also known as Valencia almond, is one of the most prevalent almond varieties in the market. Recently, many new sub-varieties have emerged, all derived from research aimed at addressing the issue of frost affecting this fruit.
This raw peeled almond has an ivory color, as the hard shell and the cinnamon-colored skin have been removed.
It is relatively crunchy with a very mild flavor, slightly sweet and not very aromatic when raw, but it develops a much more intense aroma and flavor when subjected to any of our processes.
It is highly sought after by the hospitality industry in our various formats for use in different preparations as well as for raw consumption.
