Raw skin-on comuna almond
The common almond with skin, also known as ‘Valencia skin,’ is one of the most prevalent almond varieties in the market. Recently, many new sub-varieties have emerged, all derived from research aimed at addressing the issue of frost affecting this fruit.
This raw almond has a cinnamon color as only the hard shell has been removed.
It is relatively crunchy with a very mild flavor when raw, but when subjected to any of our processes, it takes on an intense and flavorful taste.
